A statement from us regarding recent acts of vandalism in Gunnersbury Park.
“We are disappointed to report that there have been several incidents of graffiti in the park, relating to issues around the bowling green and personally attacking members of our team.
While there may be differing opinions on the future of the bowling green and pavilion, acts of vandalism and criminal damage are never acceptable ways to express those opinions.
At a time of continued operational and financial pressures, the unnecessary expense of having to remove graffiti is an unwelcome distraction.
We hope that the actions of the individual or small group of individuals responsible will be deplored by the majority of park users.”
