Planning permission granted for Humanitarian Memorial by Michael Candy

We are delighted to announce that the first Humanitarian Memorial designed by artist Michael Landy CBE, RA, has received planning permission to be unveiled in Gunnersbury Park, West London in 2025.

Seen in the fruit orchard, the cinnabar caterpillar is feasting on ragwort, a meadow plant that supports more than 40 other insect species and is an important nectar source.

t’s a beautiful winter flowering scented shrub, with tightly bunched fragrant flowers which smell amazing in winter, making it very valuable in the garden.
