Youth Volunteering at Gunnersbury
Volunteering is at the heart of west London's Gunnersbury Park and Museum.
The former home of the Rothchilds family and the historic park have been transformed into an exciting place to visit and volunteer. As a youth volunteer, there are a number of ways you can get involved and contribute, gain work experience, meet new people and develop new skills. Children and young adults can get involved in a number of ways:
- Many of our regular volunteering roles are available from the age of 16. Become a Museum Steward, help support Reception or help support our programme of activities
- We also welcome short-term work experience or Duke of Edinburgh placements in our front of house Reception role, this is a great way to gain customer facing and administration experience in one role
- Or get involved in our youth forum, an exciting and engaging project working in collaboration with young people aged 14-19 years old where local residents can input into what we do
- Gunnersbury is also open to family volunteering where children of any age can come with a parent and guardian and volunteer alongside them
