Storytelling KS2

Gunnersbury Park Museum holds a range of fascinating collections, including an archive, related to the history of the local area. These can be used alongside the expertise of our staff to give your students an amazing insight into the past within a number of topics of study at college and university level.

As well as organised workshops, we encourage self-led group visits to the museum and park, but please book in advance with the learning team so that we can check availability of spaces.

Additional resources

ESOL courses can have a free self-guided group visit, which is a great way to introduce general topics such as culture, local history and to practice their vocabulary, but please do book with the Formal Learning Team in advance so we can check in case any of the spaces are closed due to other events.

You can download and print our specially designed ESOL Resource Sheets to help guide your students and provide fun quiz questions.

Orienteering

Groups can do orienteering here. They will use the maps and a variety of routes of different lengths and skill levels to locate the markers around the park. Maps are freely available via the website of the British Orienteering Club at Gunnersbury Park - Go Orienteering.
