On 1 Oct 2025, a new memorial, was installed at Gunnersbury Park. The Humanitarian Memorial, created by artist Michael Landy, CBE, RA, both honours humanitarian aid workers who have been killed in the course of their work, and celebrates humanitarianism and those who continue to put their lives at risk to help others in need.

Relaxed Sessions: Spooky Season

Join us this Autumn for a Relaxed Session. This is a dedicated museum opening for children and young people (aged 5-25) who are neurodivergent or have additional needs, and their families.

Explore Grisly Gunnersbury through Museum object handling, with a member of the Learning Team
Enjoy being grossed out by the horrible food, smells and jobs that children did in the local area in the past.
Enjoy giant games in the Rothschild Rooms
Take part in our Creepy Creatures outdoor trail

As well as providing a sensory reduced environment within the Museum, all activities have been adapted to be neurodivergent and SEND friendly.

Our friendly staff and volunteers will be on hand to offer a warm welcome and any support you may need. Chill-out room and indoor picnic room will also be available.
