Over the past several weeks, we've invited our local community to contribute to a GIANT community picnic blanket. We now have over 400 squares that we need to sew together to make our picnic blanket.

Sign up to one of the sewing bee sessions to help us with:

• Cutting fabric to size
• Ironing fabric
• Sewing squares together and to backing

No prior sewing experience is needed, and all instructions will be provided on the day.

In addition to sewing, we'll also be showing a selection of vintage movies in the background, and have tea and coffee and biscuits available to workshop participants.

Bring a friend or come alone and meet like-minded people!

If you are under 18, you will need parental permission to take part.
