Our ‘Relaxed Days’ are designed for families who would benefit from a quiet, relaxed and welcoming environment. It is aimed at neurodivergent children, and those with disabilities of any kind. Siblings, friends, family and carers are welcome to join in the fun.

• Visitors will be able to:
• Explore the museum’s galleries with reduced noise and light levels
• 'Time travel' back to the Historic Kitchens for sensory activities. 
• Get creative at the junk modelling station.
• Enjoy dressing up in our Fashion Gallery.
• Take part in the Museum trail - with mini Easter egg reward!
• Lounge like a lord in our chill out zone.
• Bring a picnic to enjoy indoors or out.

Relaxed Day activities are suitable neurodivergent children aged between 4 – 16years whether they have diagnosis or not, and any children who have sensory needs.

All children must be accompanied by a parent, carer or responsible adult.
