A Victorian Child’s Christmas

Enjoy the Christmas festivities as a Victorian child!

This workshop is a wonderful seasonal treat, designed to be both informative and fun.

Pupils will investigate the origins of many of our Christmas traditions, including why we decorate Christmas trees, send Christmas cards and sing carols. They will also have the opportunity to discover original and replica Victorian toys and play traditional Victorian parlour games, including a fantastic shadow buff show.
