On 1 Oct 2025, a new memorial, was installed at Gunnersbury Park. The Humanitarian Memorial, created by artist Michael Landy, CBE, RA, both honours humanitarian aid workers who have been killed in the course of their work, and celebrates humanitarianism and those who continue to put their lives at risk to help others in need.

Gunnersbury 100: Easter Fun!

Join us for a family friendly, immersive drop-in session! We'll be delving deeper into the themes of our centenary exhibition "Gunnersbury Unlocked: From Private Grounds to Public Park".

You'll meet our costumed character Mrs Harrison, who cooked the lunch for Gunnersbury's 50 gardeners in the early days of the Park. Step into the former kitchens of the Rothschild family. Hear her stories of the Park's opening, and the games children played. Explore seasonal foods and see different ways eggs are decorated around the world. Children can help her to make Easter biscuits, whilst adults will enjoy a sweet treat of their own!

Also including is our Easter Trail and Community Picnic blanket making.

Event Days:

4^th, 5^th, 6^th, 11^th and 12^thof April

Event Timings:

11:00am -12:30pm & 2:00pm – 3:30pm. A session every half hour.
