This year marks the 50th anniversary of Eric and Jessica Huntley’s pioneering bookshop in Ealing — a vital hub for Black literature, activism, and community. To celebrate, we’re thrilled to welcome the Bradford–Ealing Creative Exchange to Gunnersbury Park Museum. Young people aged 18–25 have been invited to a dynamic half-day of workshops and exhibition-making. The day includes a curator-led tour of People’s Unite!, a workshop with Friends of Huntley Archive exploring their archival collection, and a hands-on photography and zine-making session delving into the politics of archives. Artwork created during the day will be proudly exhibited at Gunnersbury Park Museum later this year.
